FAQ

About the Company

Access to real-time monitoring of our stations depends on the brand of the equipment. However, every inverter equipment manufacturer provides the option to monitor the operation of solar power plants via their website and smartphone applications. Monitoring displays the efficiency of each station, energy generation, and income from electricity sales.

All solar power plants installed by our company are equipped exclusively with high-quality components, from SIP cables to protection systems and input circuit breakers. All equipment is tested for compatibility, and we select the optimal configuration based on your facility, the location of the solar modules, and their orientation. This ensures our clients receive solar power systems with the highest possible performance currently achievable. Direct access to the inverter settings server allows us to ensure their operation in problematic electrical networks. We apply industrial solar power station installation experience when constructing private solar power stations.

Design, installation, and maintenance of industrial and private solar power stations. Turnkey construction of solar power plants of various capacities. Individual calculations for each project can lead to savings of up to 20% of the budget. A full list of our main services is available on the homepage of the website.

This is a comprehensive service that includes the following actions:

  • Remote and on-site auditing of the facility (always free).
  • Project development. We work with both legal entities and private individuals, holding all necessary licenses for design, carried out by our in-house design team (including construction and electrical components).
  • New connection to the grid or increasing the capacity of the existing one, carried out as needed.
  • Installation of solar power station equipment on-site.
  • Configuration of the monitoring system.
  • Commissioning of the project for the client.
  • Processing and connection of the "Green Tariff" program.
  • The manufacturer's warranty for solar panels is 10-12 years. The actual lifespan of solar modules is 25 years, with the manufacturer declaring a performance of no less than 80% of the initial value at the end of this period.
  • The warranty period for inverters is up to 10 years (depending on the model and manufacturer).
  • The lifespan of galvanized mounting systems is 20+ years.
  • For the construction of a turnkey solar power station, we offer a warranty on the installation work for 5 years.
  • We guarantee the successful connection to the green tariff, with the final payment for installation due only after your solar power station is connected under the green tariff.

The main advantages of Green System include:

  • A separate project is developed for each facility. It features detailed visualizations and includes engineering calculations for wind and snow loads, certified by the lead project engineer who holds the appropriate licenses. This helps avoid material overruns, which can occur with approximate calculations, and ensures you won't discover shortages during construction that could delay timelines.
  • Photovoltaic modules, inverters, and other solar power station equipment come from direct suppliers, ensuring factory warranty support. Thus, they not only carry the manufacturer's warranty but also offer competitive pricing. All equipment is tested for compatibility, supplied with a “white label,” ensuring there will be no issues with firmware updates, drivers, or other software.
  • Innovative solutions and advanced technologies used in constructing industrial solar power stations are actively applied in our work on private projects. We utilize drones for measuring complex roofs.
  • Green System solar power stations typically have an average of 30% greater productivity than similarly sized stations nearby.
  • Comprehensive handling of the "Green Tariff" process. This is particularly relevant for the Zaporizhzhia region. We do not commence construction of grid-connected solar power stations without confirming that you will receive technical conditions for increasing capacity and subsequently a contract for purchasing excess electricity from you. Our goal is to ensure you can sell electricity and that your solar power station operates smoothly. If necessary, we will conduct the necessary network connections or handle the paperwork for increasing the capacity of existing electrical networks.

Since each facility is unique and client requirements vary, we conduct a complete audit and create an individual project. This includes: power and productivity calculations for the station, visualizations of solar module placements, a list of equipment, components, and services, cost estimates, projected income from electricity sales, and system payback calculations.

You can calculate the power, area of solar panels, estimated cost, and payback time by calling the numbers listed on our website. By spending just a few minutes discussing with GREEN SYSTEM managers, you will receive reliable information on the status of connections in your region and the actual generation output of solar power stations. We have constructed over 100 stations throughout Ukraine and can provide you with generation forecasts based on our projects, rather than unreliable online calculators.

Solar Power Stations

During the dark hours when the sun is not in the sky, no electricity is generated.

In the case of a grid-connected solar power station, it operates in tandem with the external grid. If there is a power outage, the grid-connected solar power station will not function. The external grid is necessary for the inverter to convert direct current to alternating current at the required frequency. Grid inverters are 20-30% cheaper than hybrid inverters.

An off-grid solar station provides electricity to the consumer from batteries charged during the day.

A hybrid solar power station can operate both as a grid-connected and as an off-grid system. In the event of a power outage during the day, it can supply loads from the solar modules. If there is excess energy, it will be directed to the batteries.

This depends on:

  • The type of solar station you have installed,
  • Its ability to generate the necessary amount of electricity,
  • The volume of electricity consumed by your electrical appliances and lighting equipment.

These parameters are taken into account during the design phase of the station. For example, a 10 kW solar power station occupying 60 m² on a roof can generate an average of 1,650 kWh per month in the summer solar season, while in winter, this figure is about 350 kWh. This amount of eco-friendly electricity is usually sufficient to meet one’s own needs.

Even on cloudy days, your system will produce electricity. When specialists at Green System calculate the annual output of a specific system, they consider numerous factors: weather data, including the number of sunny and rainy days, average snowfall, and all other weather conditions. There will be days when your system generates significantly more electricity than on others, but it will average out to the annual forecast. The difference in electricity production between winter and summer can be four to five times due to the amount of daylight and the angle of solar radiation.

The efficiency of monocrystalline solar cells is higher than that of polycrystalline solar panels. However, much depends on the quality of assembly and purity (absence of impurities) of the material itself. Thus, it is not uncommon for polycrystalline photovoltaic modules from one manufacturer to have generation efficiency similar to that of monocrystalline solar batteries from another manufacturer.

Most inverters are equipped with monitoring systems that track your system's production in real time. Additionally, our service engineers have access to the inverter’s readings and monitoring through the manufacturer's web resources, allowing you to rest easy knowing that the system is being monitored on our end. You can always check how much energy you are generating. This can be done remotely using a laptop or even a smartphone.

About the Company

A mandatory document for obtaining the "Green Tariff" is the electricity supply agreement, which “OblEnergo” enters into with each of its clients. Typically, this is prepared in two copies: one is kept by you, and the other is held by the local energy distribution company (REM) servicing your address. If the agreement specifies a dacha cooperative, garden society, or another intermediary, it must be reissued in your name. Otherwise, the connection of your solar station to the "Green Tariff" will not occur.

Carefully review the contract you have. The specified input power in the agreement for your home limits the capacity of the planned solar power station. In practice, if necessary, the allowable power can be increased to the desired parameter. You will need to prepare the relevant documentation and create a new electricity supply project for your home. This process takes about 2-4 weeks and involves certain costs. The legislation governing the "Green Tariff" states that the REM cannot refuse to increase your power capacity. This is correct because a grid-connected solar station alleviates the local grids and transformers by supplying generated electricity back to them rather than taking it away.

Regarding pricing, the cost of increasing capacity for the installation of a grid-connected solar power station under the "Green Tariff" can range from 1,200 to 2,300 UAH per kilowatt. The total amount depends on the region and area where the solar power station will be installed.

For private owners of solar power stations, the peak power of generated alternating current must not exceed 30 kW. This figure is verified based on the model of the installed inverter, which is limited to a maximum of 30 kW. More detailed consultation on this matter can be provided by specialists from Green System.
