An energy storage system consists of lithium-ion battery modules, housed in a durable aluminum casing with long-lasting powder coating. The storage unit offers a long service life - up to 6,000 charge/discharge cycles (80%), equivalent to 10 years of operation.

If one battery bank is not enough to ensure uninterrupted power supply for a facility, additional storage units can be ordered. The required number of units for a specific facility is calculated and integrated into a storage module. Devices can be connected using parallel, sequential, or combined methods. The optimal solution is determined by specialists during the project design phase.

Battery capacity is measured in kilowatt-hours (kWh). For example, a capacity of 3.84 kWh means that if devices with a combined power of 1 kilowatt are connected, the stored energy will last for 3.8 hours. With lower power consumption, the operating time increases accordingly. The duration of the battery’s operation for each facility is calculated based on the power needs of all connected devices.

  • Gel Batteries: These are lead-acid batteries with a gel-like consistency of the electrolyte. They have low self-discharge and can be used at low temperatures. However, they are heavy and sensitive to charging voltage.
  • AGM Batteries: Also lead-acid batteries but with a unique design—electrolyte is held between the plates using special valves. These batteries can be installed at an angle or on their side and still work efficiently and safely, even in freezing conditions. Their downside is weight and sensitivity to overcharging.
  • Lithium-Ion Batteries: The most popular type, offering lower weight and longer lifespan than the previous models. They are also suitable for harsh climate conditions.
